Angry citizens in Benin protest petrol scarcity, causes lockdown

Protesters in Benin have expressed their wrath by shutting down every location in the city over petrol scarcity.

A video of the protest uploaded by one of the protesters, @Stevedgr8t1 on Monday morning showed how angry Nigerian youths drove off the soldiers who came to handle the situation.

The protesters in the video yelled at the soldiers who came to control the situation; the youths affirmed that they blocked the road, refused to listen to anybody adding that they do not want petrol again.

In another Twitter video, a unidentified voice lambasted the government for the ugly turn of events because those in authority have bot been able to address the issue.

A motorist, Malam Aminu Muhammad who spoke to the Punch described the situation as frustrating and pleaded with the Federal Government and other concerned authorities to bring lasting solutions to the fuel scarcity crisis.

Reactions: Benin and Delta people no dey carry last

Several youths praised the protesters for their courageous action over the petrol scarcity as one @leftpoise said he wished all states will take a cue from Edo state. See some of the comments below:

Nigerian man falls in love with gas station attendant

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man revealed how his love for a pretty gas station attendant has affected him.

The man, identified as Fortune, said he’s deeply in love with the lady, and that is why he always visits where she works.

According to him, even when he has enough fuel, he would still go to her gas station to purchase fuel.
