Pregnancy is not a limitation: 19-year-old lady graduates with first class after writing final exam in labour room

A 19-year-old pregnant lady graduated from a US university with first class despite being in the labour room while writing the final paper.

The teenage mother, Nayzia Thomas, wrote her final exam in the labour room while expecting to give birth to her first child. 

The 19 years old pregnant lady attended Johnson County Community College, Kansas City, Missouri, United States and has finally graduated with a first class.

The pregnant teenage lady studied psychology and was about to write her final year paper when she went into labour.

My goal was to try to have everything  done before

She said she wished to finish schooling before the birth of her son, Anthony Johnson, but the bouncing baby boy arrived about 12 hours after she submitted her final.

Despite being pregnant, the teenage  lady bagged a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a GPA of 3.50.

The lady shared her experience before and after her child’s delivery. She said there were challenges after her child’s delivery but the father of her son stood with her all through those times 

School is so important to me 

The lady shared the result of her delivery room exam session on her social media page with photos of her before and after delivery.

She further said that school was important to her therefore, she did not allow pregnancy to disturb her.

Nigerian lady bags first class in Chemical Engineering abroad

In another news, a brilliant Nigerian lady achieved enormous success after graduating with a first-class degree abroad.

Named Mervin Ekpen Azeta, the lady made the honours in Chemical Engineering and Reservoir Engineering. This is after bagging a first class at the University of Benin, 2005-2010.

Mervin Azeta now works as a Lead Engineer with Schlumberger. She has also been a source of spiritual motivation as she actively professes Christ.
