In Nebraska, a mother has gone beyond the ordinary to congratulate her son who just bagged a medical degree in a unique style.
According to her, the young man had graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in May.
Seeing that he is the first doctor in the family, the family decided to surprise him by mounting a huge billboard with his picture, name and new status written boldly on it.
Speaking with “Good Morning America”, the mother of five children, Michelle Boyland credited the genius idea of congratulating her son using a billboard to seeing a story on TV.
I thought it was an excellent idea to celebrate him.
“I was inspired by that and wanted to do something similar for Ryan. I thought it was an excellent idea to celebrate him.
Everybody knew about it except Ryan. And I told him that I needed to talk to him and we’re going to meet at his older brother’s apartment complex in the parking lot,” Michelle Boyland explained, adding that the parking lot was near where the billboard was located.
“Ryan had tons of questions as usual. ‘Why are we meeting? How come we can’t talk about it right now over the phone?’ I’m like, ‘This is very important. I need to see your face.’”

Meanwhile, a young female pilot who was very proud to fly her father for the first time has received accolades from social media users.
The Asian woman, identified as Krutadnya Hale made her father proud as he flew on her flight for the first time.
