A 30-year-old lady stirred reactions on social media by rejecting a Nigerian man because of his age.

The lady, @CaviarPurple on Twitter, made public her conversation with the Nigerian man who appeared to be interested in her.

Na autocorrect cause am

@CaviarPurple explained in her tweet how this dude told her he was 28 years old and asked for her hobbies.

She immediately halted him in the conversation and said they weren’t going to work, as she was older than he.

Almost immediately, he sent a reply stating that he had mistakenly typed 28 as his age and that his real age is 32.

The released chats caused a stir on social media as many reactions were seen:

@shurley_bankz: “Let me tell you what truly happened. “He knows he is older than you but he didn’t want to come off as been too old as well so he had to reduce the age to 28 not knowing you’re above 28. Blaming it on typo was the easiest route to correction so yes it’s typo error.”

@TallFineBoy: “See you don’t know how much problems autocorrect causes.”

@abbietayo: “With the way they produce phones nowadays this is definitely an error, no vex.”

If you’re not married as a woman, you’re a nobody- Nigerian man

In other news, a Nigerian man, Duke Darls, advised women to pray they find a someone who is ready to marry them, or they will be tagged as a nobody in society.

The young man declared this in several posts on Twitter, where he also opined that a time would come when single women will be more rampant than married ones in Nigeria.

According to the financial analyst, women benefit more from marriages but still ‘talk down’ on men.
