Rema’s Calm down remix maintains No 1 on Billboard US Afrobeats Chart for 30 Weeks 

As his song enters its 30th week at the top of the Billboard US Afrobeats chart, Nigerian artist Rema has maintained his place at the top.

Remix of Calm Down by American singer Selena Gomez also made history in the US by being the fourth most popular single there.

The top song has spent 30 weeks on the chart, demonstrating its continued dominance across the globe.

According to statistics, this is the longest run in history.

In his tweet, the singer referred to another famous Nigerian singer, Tekno, as a “legend” when it comes to Afrobeats. 

Though Tekno has not responded to the singer’s tweet, fans of Tekno quickly responded and supported the claims made by Rema.
