The mother of a young internet sensation, Segun Wire, has publicly apologized to popular Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile.
Recall that the little boy became a young star years ago. This was after a video where he said he wanted to become a “Yahoo Boy” when he grows up.
After the video went viral, the Zanku crooner took interest in him and vowed to help him.
Zlatan became his manager and featured him in one of his music videos.
Sadly, Segun Wire’s family accused the singer of extorting him and the relationship ended. During that same period, a video surfaced of the singer being attacked by hoodlums who were allegedly sent by Segun’s family.
In response to the incident, Zlatan reversed his decision to help Segun and openly confessed that he regretted helping the little boy.
Recently, Segun’s mother apologised to Zlatan. In her own words in Yoruba, she said, “I know I’ve offended you, this suffering is too much, forgive me, forgive Segun. I beg you in God’s name. This suffering is too much.”
