In an online interview, popular Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, aka Ayra Starr, focused mostly on the sources of inspiration for her songs.
The singer said that she writes better when on an airplane during a meet and greet with her fans hosted by radio host, Superdave.
This came after the interviewer asked the singer about her creative process and the spirit that inspired her music.

The ‘Away’ crooner claimed that she writes more effectively on the plane and that her songwriting abilities developed over time.

The singer elaborated, stating that she constantly felt as though she was inside the sky and that made her feel extremely small and humble. The “Rush” singer remarked that she wrote her best when she was on a mission.
Ayra Starr continued by stating that her goal as a songwriter was to create music that would empower her because she was depressed when she wrote Bloody Samaritan. She added that she writes about her life experience and her current state of mind.

Meanwhile, Nigerian-born British musician, Darkoo has stirred reactions on social media following a post that raised eyebrows.
In the Instagram post, the rapper and songwriter was captured with another talented Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr.
Netizens raised suspicious of Darkoo being a lesbian following her suggestive post on social media.
