Hon. Dalung Insists President Buhari Is An Incorruptible Leader.

Immediate past Minister of Youths and Sports Development in Nigeria, Hon. Solomon Dalung has reiterated the President of the nation, Muhammadu Buhari is an unambitious and highly incorruptible man but cannot say the same of the majority of members of Mr. President’s cabinet.
Dalung said this during an exclusive interview session with battabox.com in Jos, Plateau State, northcentral Nigeria.
Hon. Dalung, a well-known radicalized individual particularly on social issues made several stunning revelations.
“President Buhari is not a corrupt man at all and will never be corrupt. He cannot suddenly change from who he truly is because he is the President of Nigeria, no. This is someone I know on strong personal terms, as a matter of fact, he is like a father to me and everyone who knows the President knows I am telling the honest truth but I cannot say the same of members of his cabinet as there are several terrible characters there”.
When questioned on what he meant by terrible people he simply had this to say, “Lot of these people are only surrounding the President for selfish reasons and that’s why most of the terrible happenings in the country are hidden from him. Because they know if he gets wind of some of this stories he will take action and people would have to take full responsibility for their failures”.
On what he meant by the President being unambitious he said: “The President is never someone you can influence with money. Yes, I know before 2015 we made a lot of enticing promises to Nigerians and we eventually failed woefully to deliver but at the level of corruption I can stick out my neck for Mr. President. There are several reasons I can give why I said this but let me simply tell you this one. During our campaign ahead of the 2019 general election, we all went to see him to discuss how to raise resources to execute the campaign but Mr. President asked us how we were going to get the money. He gave us a stern warning asking us not to temper with public funds as he was confident that Nigerians were going to vote him back on the basis of performance. He said if Nigerians fail to vote him for a second term so be it, but he was never going to use public funds to execute his campaign and that was exactly what he did as most of us had to privately fund the campaign on our own”.
Hon. Dalung who admitted he was very bitter with the APC for several reasons also admitted the Presidency has been hijacked from President Buhari by some greedy individuals who do not mean well for Nigeria, saying the President has visibly lost control.
On the possible outcome of the 2023 Presidential election, he said the APC has already lost the election by daring to pick a Muslim-Muslim ticket for President and Vice President.
