Talented 11-Year-old Nigerian Boy Invents Generator That Works Without Fuel

A talented Nigerian boy has invented a power generator that works appropriately without requiring fuel.

The 11-year-old boy, identified as Muhammad Kaumi Bashir from Borno state, Nigeria, is still in his first year in high school.

Kaumi Bashir’s curiosity and problem-solving skills led him to fabricate the mini-power generator, as he remains on course to fulfil his dream of becoming an Electrical Engineer.

The youngster, whose mini generator can power light bulbs, has the ambition to solve Nigeria’s electricity problems in the future, and he had to first solve the power supply issue in his own home.

“Since Maiduguri has been having electricity problem for over two years now, and my father cannot afford to install a solar, I decided to manufacture this my generator that does not use petrol, and can power light bulbs,” he said.”

His mother, Mallama Yakaka Kaumi, revealed that her son, Kaumi Bashir, at the tender age of 5, was already displaying some creative abilities in electronic and mechanical fabrications way beyond his age.

During an interview with PRNigeria, She said, “His life has so far been about inventing and repairing electronic appliances.”

Mrs Mallama Yakaka Kaumi also added that her 11-year-old son wakes up daily to remind her of his intention to become a trusted and famous electrical engineer with global recognition.

“He is passionate about setting up a big electrical engineering firm, and then use it to solve the country’s power crisis,” she added.

Meanwhile, a brilliant young boy was offered admission into 27 US Universities.

The 18-year-old boy, Jonathan Walker, is from Panama City, Florida, United States, and he graduated high school with an impressive 4.85 GPA.

Jonathan Walker also won a combined scholarship to the tune of $4 million from top universities like Yale, Harvard, MIT, and Stanford.
