Tems, the first female afrobeats artiste to win a Grammy award, was heartily congratulated by some popular American artistes after making history.
Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, was captured in a video with Rick Ross, Mary J Blige, and Dj Khaled on the Grammy’s red carpet after winning an award.
The Nigerian singer shook hands with Rick Ross and engaged him in a friendly conversation.

Tems was awed as she was congratulated by Mary J Blige, who hugged her and took pictures with her.
The Nigerian music sensation also exchanged warm pleasantries with Dj Khaled as he mentioned that he is a fan and he loves her so much.

She became the first female Nigerian artiste to receive such global recognition.
The 65th edition of the annual Grammy Awards ceremony happened over the weekend. The nominees from Nigeria were Burna boy and Tems.
