Albukhary International University awards fifty (50) scholarships to students. The grant is open for Malaysian and international students who want to study for an undergraduate degree at the Albukhary International University.
Application process
Applicants should send their application via email to scholarship@aiu.edu.my. If they meet the academic and scholarship criteria, they will get a call for an interview session.

- Scholarship letter – only if you are sponsored by another party.
- Fathers’ identification (ID) or death certificate.
- Mothers’ identification (ID) or death certificate.

Criteria for eligibility
- Between 18 and 22 years old.
- Must be fluent in the English Language.
- Single marital status.
- Must have a household income below USD 300 for international applicants.
- A-Level / Diploma / Foundation / Matriculation / STPM with minimum CGPA of 2.80 or STAM with minimum Jayyid
- Minimum two subjects with Credit, inclusive of English Language at O Level / SPM / GSCE
- IELTS with a minimum band score of 5.5 / TOEFL with a minimum band score of 550 / MUET with a minimum band score of 4.
The institution will select applicants based on their higher academic performance (higher school percentage).
How to apply for the Albukhary International University Scholarship
- You must first apply for admission to the University’s undergraduate degree program to be considered for the opportunity.
- Following that, the applicant will be invited to an interview session, during which the following aspects will be thoroughly examined.
- Socioeconomic status accounts for 40% of the score, followed by communication skills (20%), personality (20%), and attitude (20%).
- Upon fulfilling the academic and scholarship criteria, an applicant will be called for an interview session, and the aspects mentioned above will be assessed thoroughly during the interview session.
Note that Abdulkhary International University reserves the full right to reject or end any scholarship application on the grounds of plagiarism or fraudulent information without prior notice to the applicant.
