I will protect you – Tinubu sends message of hope to youths, makes appealing promises 

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President-elect of Nigeria, urged young people to give him a chance to run the nation.

Tinubu made the special appeal immediately following the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) announcement of his victory at the February 25 presidential election.

In his message to the youths, Tinubu claimed to have heard them loud and clear and told them that he was on their side.

He stressed that he was prepared to protect them and their future because he was aware of their suffering.

The former governor of Lagos State vowed that educational system would become appealing to them and would not suffer due to oversight.

He said he will protect our future

He said: “Now, to you, the young people of this country, I hear you loud and clear.”

“I understand your pains, your yearnings for good governance, a functional economy and a safe nation that protects you and your future.”

“I am aware that for many of you Nigeria has become a place of abiding challenges limiting your ability to see a bright future for yourselves.” 

“Remodeling our precious national home requires the harmonious efforts of all of us, especially the youth. Working together, we shall move this nation as never before.”

“I will pay undivided attention your education. Credits will be available. Education loan will be available.”

“Four years course will be four years course. Your university will have the autonomy to upgrade their syllabus. No one is too small. The lecturer must write and author books for students.”

Buhari congratulates Tinubu for winning the 2023 Nigerian Elections

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Bola Tinubu, the winner of the just concluded presidential election, saying that he is the best man for the job.

Early on Wednesday morning, INEC declared Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the election. 

He surpassed challengers Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to achieve this feat.
