Every year, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria (TUCN): Total Exploration & Production Nigeria Limited (Total E&P Nig Ltd) and Total Upstream Nigeria Limited (TUPNI).

Jointly with their venture partners, they give scholarships to Nigerian students in tertiary institutions in the country. This scholarship is for an undergraduate that is registered full-time in a known Nigerian University. And you must be 100 or 200-level students at the time of application.

NNPC/CHEVRON Undergraduate University scholarships

This scholarship is a combination of NNPC and CHEVRON. It is for second-year (200-level) degree students of the courses outlined below. They are for Universities in Nigeria:

Geology/Geophysics, Law, Mass Communication/Journalism, Mechanical/Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Human Medicine/Dentistry/Pharmacy, Petroleum Engineering.

Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science/Computer, Accountancy, Agricultural Engineering/Agricultural Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Environmental Studies/Surveying Architecture, Business Administration/Economics, Engineering/System Engineering.

Jim OVia Scholarship

This is a fully funded scholarship by Mr. Jim Ovia to assist outstanding Nigerian youths financially to further their studies. The scholarship was previously called the MUSTE scholarship. 

Eligible candidates will be assisted with their undergraduate and graduate study for the duration of their program and it includes tuition and maintenance allowances. The scholarship is worth 150,000 Nigerian Naira.

The DJ Care scholarship is divided into two groups:

Seyi Bickersteth Scholarship Fund, in association with KPMG, Andersen, and Leadway Assurance Company Limited, invites applicants that qualify properly for the Seyi Bickersteth Scholarship Programme (SBSP).

The scholarship is in honour of Seyi Bickersteth, who worked as a Senior Partner of KPMG in Nigeria from 2002 to 2016, and Chairman of KPMG Africa from 2014 to 2016.
