However, recently, she confirmed in a Facebook post that recent events had shown that the young man was not her lover.
Ruth claimed to be Philip’s girlfriend in a Facebook post where she revealed images they took at the at the NYSC camp in Bayelsa.

She claimed they met at the orientation camp and started dating soon after.
Because of the stark difference in their heights, Ruth’s tweet received a lot of attention on social media.

Nigerians awoke on Sunday to Philip Ayobami, the young man in the photo, denying being in a relationship with Ruth.
Ruth was warned to remove her prior post or risk legal action after he called her out as a clout chaser.
Ruth admitted that she lied and that she and Philip were not dating on her Facebook page after the disclaimer.
She explained that she simply wanted to see people’s reactions in light of the buzz their heights at the orientation camp caused.
She made it clear that she had only made the post for fun and not to gain influence or attention.
