We met in danfo bus and he dey pay for my transport: Nigerian lady shares her love story

A Nigerian woman, Auntie Esther recounted how she fell in love with her man who used to pay her transport fare.

Esther narrated her story on Twitter when a user, @inaribriana asked couples to share how they met their partner, in reaction to this Esther explained her own love story.

According to her, she met her man on a public bus (popularly called danfo in Nigeria) and he used to pay for her transport to Ikeja every time.

She explained that her partner was also her “area uncle” (A man who is older than you and lives in the same street as you) and one day told her that where one’s heart is, that is where their treasure will be, and ever since then she and her man have been one and very much in love.

She shared her story with a picture of herself and her man and said “We met inside danfo he de pay my transport to Ikeja n na my area uncle too he come tell me say where Ur heart de na where ur treasure go de since May 1, 2010 we don de together oooo. pls English no much.”

Meanwhile, a beautiful story of how a married man met and tied the knot with his wife warmed the hearts of many on the internet.

The man, @Alaga! recounted how he knew his wife in Jss1 and how they hit it off later in the years when he replied to a Twitter user who asked “Couples… don’t all speak at once but… how did you meet your other half? Indulge me I’m a romantic!”

The funny man explained that he met his wife when they were in Jss1 where she was the class captain and she hated him because he was short and troublesome.
