Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the passing of one of its veteran actors, Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi.
The prolific actor, who was also a film producer and director, reportedly passed away on May 7th at the age of 57, in the home of one of his siblings.

Although the news of his death took almost a week to be made official due to a family disagreement, the legacy he left behind in the film industry cannot be disputed.
Saint Obi was a force to be reckoned with in the industry, having starred in over 100 movies and being instrumental in shaping the industry into what it is today.
His journey to stardom began with his breakthrough role in Zeb Eiro’s ‘Sakobi,’ which endeared him to the hearts of many movie enthusiasts.

From there, he went on to showcase his talent in other blockbuster movies like Candle Light, Goodbye Tomorrow, Heart of Gold, and many more.
