UK-based Nigerian YouTuber, Emdee Tiamiyu, stands by his remarks on Nigerians with UK student visas, despite the backlash.
In an interview with the BBC, Tiamiyu claimed that many Nigerians obtaining student visas have ulterior motives and do not genuinely intend to study in the UK.
Tiamiyu expressed his belief that acquiring a degree serves as a means for individuals to gain entry into the country rather than pursuing education.

He asserted that the priorities of these individuals quickly shift once they arrive in the UK.
During a recent Instagram Live interview with Daddy Freeze, Tiamiyu maintained his stance, stating that people often take offence when confronted with the truth.
He clarified that his comments were misconstrued and misunderstood by many.
