A young Nigerian man has narrated how he managed to bag a first-class degree at the Nigerian Law School, despite losing his dad nine days before his final exams.
While sharing his story on Twitter, the man, identified as Victor Oni, also revealed that his grandma had passed on two weeks before he lost his father.
He said that he was traumatized, couldn’t breathe, and even begged his mum to put him on a flight back home.

However, these unfortunate incidents didn’t hinder Victor from passing his bar final exams in flying colours.
He tweeted, “9 days to my Bar finals, I lost my dad. 2 weeks before that, my grandma passed. I couldn’t breathe. I begged my mom to put me on a flight back home.
But God held my hand and walked me through the fire. He made me proof of his love and grace. I came out with a FIRST CLASS!’
How God Came Through For Victor
In a subsequent tweet, Victor Oni explained that he didn’t know he managed to achieve such a feat, but he believed God helped him.
He said God gave him strength, wisdom and helped him concentrate fully on his exams without being distracted by what had just happened.
“Can’t say exactly how i did it. But all I know is God came through for me. God being so deliberate about me took me by the hand, gave me all the strength, wisdom, and concentration I needed. The Holy Spirit was always there to comfort me,” he said.
