A Nigerian lady has broken up with her boyfriend of 7 months after she found out that he had been lying to her all along about his name.
The lady, identified as Joy, disclosed to her friend, Dami, who shared the story on Twitter, explaining that her boyfriend lied about his name.
According to her, the lover boy claimed to be bearing Bash; however, the young’s man actual name is Bashiru.
While expressing her distress to Dami, Joy explained that she thought Bash was a Turkish name and declared that she had broken up with the young man.
When asked by Dami how she found out, she replied that his old friend yelled his full name out of the excitement of meeting him after many years.
She added that one of the reasons for the breakup, aside from his lies, was that she had no idea how she could introduce her boyfriend’s name as Bashiru to her friends without being ridiculed.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man, Ikenna Nworah, confronted online by his former lover for falsehood, decided to reveal his side of the story.
The alienated lover, Chinesa Emmanule, claimed on Facebook that Ikenna abandoned her and married someone else.
However, Ikenna revealed that she did not sponsor him, contrary to what Chinesa had said. He held on to his evidence that her mother had died before they even met.
