Actress Yetunde bakare advises men to conduct a DNA test

Popular Nollywood actress, Yetunde Bakare shook tables on social media after she advised fathers to carry out a DNA test on all their children.

In an Instagram post, Yetunde encouraged men (both broke and rich) in everything they do; they should always conduct a DNA test.

She further persuaded them that even if they were low on funds, they should go the extra mile by borrowing money to run the DNA test.

Furthermore, Yetunde said that no woman should find it offensive when her man requests a DNA test when she gives birth.

According to the actress, a DNA test should be encouraged because of the high level of dishonesty and paternity fraud.

The screen diva concluded with a popular Yoruba adage depicting that no woman should be scared of the result as long as she didn’t do what she was not meant to do.

Reactions: Faithful men hardly find faithful women

The post was applauded by a section of netizens who supported the notion, while others disagreed. See some of the comments below;

@i_am_mide24: Faithful men hardly find faithful women and vice-versa….so I support the motion ?

@adeola_olufisayo: Well I would find it offensive though cos it means you don’t trust me and ya indirectly telling me I have been cheating but men if for any reason you have doubts pls do it but never let me find out.

@harrykemmy2: DNA should be done at birth

@kemmysinuola: Why? The man also go about distributing spermatozoa around if a woman picks up from another man, I don’t think it’s so wrong. Deceit is wrong and parenting without knowledge is a sensitive matter but men should not start treating woman as though they are saints that can’t pick babies from other places. Am not justifying such.

@remrich01: Very important now too much dishonesty nowadays oo.

Your husband is not your friend, he is your Lord

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man, Darlington Onyelike, took to social media to enlighten women that their husbands are not their friends.

In a Facebook post on January 31, Onyelike told women that they shouldn’t see their husbands as their friends but should consider them as their lords.

He said, “Majority of those that claimed to have married their friends have divorced the marriages.”
