Juliana Olayode, a Nollywood actress, has publicly apologized to her senior colleague Funke Akindele after their six-year-long fallout.
The conflict between the two actresses began in 2017 following Juliana’s appearance in Funke Akindele’s renowned series, “Jenifa’s Diary.”
Taking to Instagram, Juliana Olayode shared a heartfelt post reflecting on her rapid rise to fame after starring in Funke Akindele’s movie.

She acknowledged Funke’s significant role in propelling her into the limelight and expressed how overwhelmed she felt by the newfound recognition.
Juliana admitted that her lack of understanding of the intricacies of the entertainment industry, combined with the influence of a misguided manager, contributed to her behaviour.

She revealed that her manager had sent an email behind her back to Funke Akindele’s production company, which ultimately led to their fallout.
While Juliana had privately reached out to Funke to apologize and reconcile, she believed it was crucial to publicly express her remorse.
In her apology, Juliana acknowledged the immense favour and opportunity she received by working with Funke Akindele, emphasizing her gratitude.
She apologized for the mistakes of her past, asked for forgiveness, and expressed her eternal love and admiration for Funke.

Her heartfelt gesture was met with forgiveness from Funke Akindele, who hugged her, prayed for her, and even cooked for her as they reminisced about their good old days.
