A young Nigerian woman slammed popular singer 2Baba for sending a birthday message to his wife, Annie Idibia.
With a post on his Instagram page, Annie, 2Baba’s wife, celebrated her one-year birthday on Sunday, November 13.
In a terse post, the African Queen crooner shared a photo of his wife and wished her a happy birthday, which many social media users thought was inappropriate.
“Birthday Blessings my Queen. Nothing do u.” 2Baba captioned Annie’s photo.
In response, a Nigerian woman simply known as Chiamaka on Twitter stated that if she had been in Annie’s shoes, she would have taken offense at 2Baba’s post.
“If my husband wishes me happy birthday like this we will have problems ??”, she wrote.
The lady’s remark sparked even more diverse reactions on the microblogging platform. While some thought the post was fine, others thought the singer should have written a more endearing message to his wife. Scroll down to read some comments.
