A Nigerian man was shocked after discovering he’s saved over N1m in his piggy bank by quitting his weekly data subscription.
The man’s wife was instrumental in transforming her husband’s finances after she frowned at his exorbitant weekly data expenditure.
She urged her husband to quit his weekly data that cost N9,000, and her husband listened to her.

He started saving money in a wooden piggy bank instead of committing the cash to subscribe to mobile broadband data.
In a video shared on Instagram by Lindaikejiblogofficial, the man discovered over N1 million saved in the piggy bank after he broke it.
The excited man also left a loving, sweet appreciation note for his wife inside the piggy bank in case he passed away before the wooden bank was opened.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man lost millions of Naira in savings after realizing all the money he kept in his metal piggy box had decayed.
The unidentified man brought his money to a Nigerian bank to save but upon opening the box, he was dazed to see the monies had changed colour.
Witnesses of the incident criticized him for keeping such a huge amount of money inside a box for so long.
