An auto-workshop boss has taken to social media to show off the type of phones that his apprentice mechanics use.
Being a mechanic is usually regarded as a layman’s job, but all the mechanics in the video were shown to be using iPhones.
The devices cost hundreds of thousands of naira, and some, like the latest iPhone 14 pro max, break the million naira mark. However, this was what most of the mechanics were flaunting.

The video, posted on Instagram by @gistreeltv, has stirred reactions from netizens, who are mostly in doubt because, according to them, the mechanics do not look like they can afford such expensive phones.
“All of them look like person way never chop ?,” a social media user wrote in reaction.
Another user wrote, “The way dem dey hold the phone sef ?? you go know say no be dem get am.”
