Nigerian woman with only Veterinary Medicine degree foregoes a master’s degree and begins a PhD programme in the United States

A young Nigerian woman, Victoria Omokhefe was accepted by the University of Cincinnati in the United States to pursue her PHD after earning her veterinary medicine degree in Nigeria.

Victoria Omokhefe completed her undergraduate studies in veterinary medicine at the University of Abuja in Nigeria.

At her induction ceremony, she received the BLUE BLOOD veterinary limited award for best graduating student in clinical conference presentation.

Nigerian woman degree foregoes a master’s degree and begins a PhD programme in the United States

Victoria stated that she will begin her doctoral programme in the US on her LinkedIn page as she sent a message of congratulations for her accomplishment.

In her words:

”I got inducted into the Veterinary Council of Nigeria as a Veterinary Doctor, and also won the award for BLUE BLOOD veterinary limited best graduating student in clinical conference presentation.”

At the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, she will pursue her doctoral degree in Molecular Cellular and Biochemical Pharmacology.

She continued:

”That same day in the evening, i left Nigeria to the USA to begin my PhD in Molecular Cellular and Biochemical Pharmacology at the University of Cincinnati Ohio.”

Victoria is not only a veterinarian; she also fights for the rights of women and children.

Nigerian woman landed a lucrative job, thanks to her taxi driver

Meanwhile, Oluwatise, a graduate who had been struggling to find employment, took to Twitter to share her story, expressing gratitude for the unexpected blessing that came her way.

The young lady didn’t know that the person behind the wheel was not just an ordinary taxi driver, but a manager at a reputable company, capable of making influential decisions.

Opening up about her joblessness turned out to be a pivotal moment in her life and the young Nigerian woman landed a lucrative job eventually.
