May his soul rest in peace: Photos of Saint Obi’s mansion where he honoured his ancestors surface

Saint Obi, late Nollywood actor has once again been remembered after his death when pictures of his mansion circulates on the internet.

Recall that Battabox reported that the veteran actor passed on to the great beyond on 7th of May, 2023 at the age of 57.

Well, following his death, news about him has been circulating the internet as some of his friends and family come out to the social space to say one or two things.

The recent news about the late actor after his friend, Zik Okafor shared that he died due to an illness, was the fact that he paid homage to his ancestors.

Uche Nworah, a man who is believed to be a member of the Advisory Board at Awka Millenium City shared on Facebook pictures, the late actor’s mansion in his hometown, Alaenyi Ogwa village, in Mbaitolu Local Government Area of Imo State.

In the photos, a signboard which contained the name of his ancestors was seen in his big mansion.

“Late actor Saint Obi (Obinna Nwafor) even in death passes on an important message of honouring one’s ancestors. New pictures have emerged showing his palatial home in his native Alaenyi Ogwa village, in Mbaitolu Local Government Area of Imo State”

“A conspicuous signboard in the sprawling estate honours his Umuezealaeze ancestors listing their names; Mazi Duruoriaku & Lolo U (Great-Great-Great Grandfather and mother), Mazi Iwuoha and Lolo E (Great-Great Grandfather and mother), Mazi Amadi and Lolo N (Great Grandfather and mother), Mazi Nwafor and Lolo Nwajiocha (Grandfather and Mother), and Mazi Melford and Lolo Millicent Nwafor (Father and mother),” he said.

Veteran Actor Saint Obi Passes Away at the Age of 57

Meanwhile, Nollywood was thrown into mourning following the passing of one of its veteran actors, Obinna Nwafor, popularly known as Saint Obi.

The prolific actor, who was also a film producer and director, reportedly passed away on May 7th at the age of 57, in the home of one of his siblings.

Although the news of his death took almost a week to be made official due to a family disagreement, the legacy he left behind in the film industry cannot be disputed.
