A 77-year-old man named Andrew Ouma, married to seven women, has revealed that polygamy makes him happy.
During an interview with Afrimax English, the Kenyan man said he got married to his first wife in 1966 when he was only 18 years of age.
The proud father of 30 children said having more than one wife is a way of paying tribute to his mother, and it makes him complete.
“Marrying many wives is part of our culture and makes me compete,” he said.
Andrew Ouma further disclosed that all his wives were neighbours, and his mother gave her blessings for him to marry them.
The Septuagenarian said that although he’s frequently criticised for his polygamous lifestyle, it doesn’t bother him because he was born into it. His mother was the sixth wife of his father.
Also, he stated that his wives are well taken care of, as he’s built houses for four of them, and buildings for the remaining three are under construction. He added that he’d given all his wives a parcel of land each.
Andrew Oomua has a large family comprising his 30 children, 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He revealed he’s now a marriage counsellor helping people in his area solve their marital issues.

Medical Doctor Writes Application To Be Ooni’s 8th Wife
Meanwhile, a medical doctor took to Twitter to announce her readiness to become the 8th wife of the Ooni of Ife.
Battabox sources revealed that the Nigerian medical practitioner, Bella Nifemi, applied to join Ooni’s oloris.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has fully embraced the culture of polygamy; he is married to six women already.
