Sensational Nigerian singer, Ric Hassani has recounted how he quit his banking job on resumption day.
The ‘Gentleman’ crooner said he got a job offer from one of the commercial banks in the state but abandoned the offer after he received a call to perform at a wedding in Lagos.
He said he was preparing to resume his new job when the call came from a show promoter that he had been booked to perform at a lavish wedding in Lagos.

Interestingly, the bride had initially booked Rekado Bankz, mistaking him for the singer of the song “Ladies And Gentlemen.”
However, upon realizing the error, she specifically requested the person who sang “Gentleman,” which led to the opportunity for Hassani.

During his appearance on the Echo Room audiovisual podcast hosted by Quincy Jonze, the Port Harcourt-born artist shared his experience, stating that he had initially planned to begin his banking career but was swayed by the unexpected performance offer in Lagos.
Since that day, he has remained in Lagos pursuing his music career.
