The height of wickedness: Nigerian woman narrates how husband chose landed property over their child’s birth

A Nigerian woman has narrated on Twitter, how her husband chose landed property over their child’s birth.

The lady popularly known on Twitter as @madamolu recalled her child-birthing experience and the pains her husband caused her.

She was having difficulties birthing naturally but couldn’t have a caesarian section because she thought her spouse was broke. It turned out that the man was not broke but was saving money to get land for undisclosed reasons.

The baby came out with lots of tears and a placenta rupture.

In her own words, “I remember when I was giving birth struggling for my life and unable to push the baby out in a dilapidated health center cos I couldn’t afford a good Hospital & my supposedly father of the child was watching me fight for my life while he has a lot of money in his acct & bag then and poor me was praying while on hospital bed for more strength, cos I was almost gone and I thought we couldn’t afford CS , alas baby came out with lots of tears and placenta rupture, the next week the Oga got a Landed property. Selfishness at its peak.”

She claimed she would have been able to help herself if she hadn’t spent all her money. She used it in love to support him, hoping he would reciprocate it when he started having money. But he failed her.

Nigerian mum goes back to secondary school after birthing last child

In other news, a determined Nigerian woman, Precious Chioma Ugwoku, did one of the uncommon things in Nigeria after she decided to return to secondary school.

The story of the zealous mother who believed that it is never too late to achieve her dreams was shared on social media by her husband, Ugwuoke Oloto Odobo, who stated that Precious returned to school in 2018, and was preparing to study Law at the university.

Precious Chioma returned to JSS 3 (Junior Secondary School) at St Andrew’s Secondary School, Ibagwa-Ani, Nsukka, in 2018 after giving birth to her last child.
