Nigerians on social media give me hypertension – Tinubu

Tinubu: Nigerians on social media abuse the hell out of me |battabox.com

The presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has revealed that he does not read posts on social media because Nigerians constantly troll him.

While addressing party members and other stakeholders during a media briefing organised by the APC, Tinubu said the abuse was too much.

He added that he gets angry with the derogatory things said about him online, and it gives him hypertension.

The former Lagos state governor said he now has to rely on whatever his children and workers feed him.

Twitter influencer, Cross shared the video where Tinubu was quoted saying,

“I don’t read social media anymore oo. They abuse the hell out of me; if I read it, I get high blood pressure, I get angry.”

Tinubu Warns Against Funke Akindele Comparison, Says It’s An Insult

Meanwhile, Battabox.com earlier reported that Bola Ahmed Tinubu warned his supporters not to compare Funke Akindele to him.

Bola Tinubu made this point after his supporters compared the actress and politician to him during one of his Lagos rallies.

It shocked many Nigerians when popular actress, Funke Akindele announced that she suspended acting for politics in July 2022.
