Nigerian actress and singer Stella Damasus has warned fellow women on social media not to rush into marriage.

She disclosed how she met a guy who she considered a ‘ten’ and shared her interests.
Stella believed he was the perfect man, so she took the plunge but ended up heartbroken.
The actress has married twice before now. She was 21 when she first married Jaiye Aboderin who died in 2004.
She remarried the same year to fellow actor and film director Daniel Ademinokan, but they divorced in 2020.

Stella Damasus took to social media to advise her fans always to appreciate what they have.
Stella narrated her story after seeing a family who sang and begged for money. She said she witnessed this after leaving home to get things at the mall.

According to her, a talented man played excellent songs with his son. They displayed a sign that read, ‘Help us pay rent and bills. We need your help.’
This has made Stella reach out to her followers on social media advising them to ‘Never take it (every blessing) for granted.’
She noted that people are out there who are unable to have what you have despite their efforts.
