Apostle Emmanuel Okose, a controversial social media Preacher dropped another relationship bomb on 15th June 2023. The explosion took place on Facebook initially but spread to Instagram when popular social media blogs reposted the video clip.
The preacher claimed that marrying out of love was a wrong decision and that singles should seek mutual understanding above love. Since Apostle Emmanuel Okose claimed to be an Apostle of God, many Christians who are well versed in the Bible disagreed with him and pointed him to the popular chapter that talks about love – 1 Corinthians 13.
However, there were some netizens who agreed with him. An onlooker could easily tell that their premise for believing the preacher was built on hurt, bitterness, regret, and unforgiveness as they narrated their sad past experiences.

In his own words, he said, “Don’t be with someone that loves you. Love is a scam. Be with someone that respects you, that understands you. Our generation has been confused. Love is not understanding. Love is a feeling. Understanding is a decision.”
Apostle Emmanuel Okose buttressed his point stating that over the years, people have had the capacity to love multiple partners equally.
