Michael Ilesanmi, a Nigerian citizen who appeared on the popular reality TV show 90 Day Fiancé, has gone missing in Georgia, where he moved with his wife, Angela Deem, two months ago.

Deem, 58, announced the news in a tearful video on TikTok on Monday, February 26, 2024, saying that the police are involved and that she has no clue where her husband is.

“Michael’s been missing since the 23rd. The police are involved, we can’t find him,” Deem said in the video, which was also shared by 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates. Deem claimed that Ilesanmi, 32, left their home in South Georgia without any of his belongings, including his phone, wallet, ID, clothes, and toothbrush.

“He left everything here. I know that there are people who probably think, ‘Oh, maybe he just left.’ But like, nothing, not any ID, nothing to show his name on it, no clothing, not a toothbrush. Zero point zero zero. No wallet, nothing. Clothes on his back is what he left with on Friday,” she said.

Deem also said that Ilesanmi had only arrived in the U.S. on December 22, 2023, after waiting for three years for his spousal visa. She said that she was worried that he might have planned to leave her all along or that something bad might have happened to him.

“If he left on his own, he should have called me. Everybody in this town, I’m gonna tell you, they say, ‘Angela, he’s f–king walked out because he’s got no reason to stay here.’ I don’t want to believe that,” she said. “But it’s looking like he’s planned this the whole f–king time. This is not funny.

“This is real s–t. I am not Chantel. I am not Daniele. I am not Molly. You’ve got the wrong goddamn American,” she added, referring to other 90 Day Fiancé stars who had relationship troubles with their foreign partners.

Deem also said that she had tried to contact Ilesanmi’s family in Nigeria, but they had not responded to her calls or messages. She said that she was concerned for his safety and well-being and that she still loved him despite their rocky marriage. “He’s my husband, and I love him, and I don’t know where he’s at.

As long as he’s safe, just call us. The police are involved. This is beyond what the f–k is going on. You got my four grandkids crying that something’s wrong with you. This is not Karine and Paul,” she said, mentioning another 90 Day Fiancé couple who had a tumultuous relationship.

Deem also revealed that she was offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who could help find Ilesanmi or provide any information about his whereabouts. She said that she was not allowed to answer any questions about immigration issues and that she hoped that Ilesanmi would come back to her.

“What do I say to these people because I don’t have no answers? We know he’s deceitful, but I don’t think he would go this far and not call at least my daughter,” she said.

Ilesanmi and Deem met online and got married in Nigeria in January 2020 after appearing on several seasons of 90 Day Fiancé and its spin-offs. Their relationship was often strained by their cultural differences, age gap, fertility issues, and trust problems.

Deem once accused Ilesanmi of cheating on her with a younger woman online, but they later reconciled and underwent therapy on 90 Day: The Last Resort. They were also featured in the trailer for the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, which was released on February 14, 2024.
