Nigerian media personality popularly known as Daddy Freeze has caused mixed reactions among social media users after he compared Wizkid to Fela Kuti.
He released a video saying the Grammy award winner Wizkid is almost on the same level as Afrobeats legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

Daddy Freeze made his point weeks after Wizkid criticised the existence of rap music and said it is a dead and boring genre.
The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner pointed this out while insisting that Afrobeats is superior to rap. He said this during his interview with 10 magazine.
He also relegated Nigerian rap artistes and outlined those he considers real rappers in Africa.
Daddy Freeze however, released a video online making is stand regarding the matter. He noted that people should always listen to Wizkid while emphasising on his relevance in the Nigerian music industry.

When it comes to music in Nigeria as a whole, Wizkid is almost on the level of Fela then. What he (Wizkid) has been able to do, not many people can achieve it, when he says something, hear him out, there is one thing in me that makes me different from many people.
I might not like you but if you speak the truth I will support you. The truth is the truth and it will set you free. When you see the truth and started ignoring the truth because of the person carrying the truth we become like Nigerian politicians, all of them are the same but they will make one look worse than the rest of them.
