According to The Nigerian Tribune, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state reiterated that his continued membership in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) demonstrates his desire to resolve the party crisis.
On Friday, October 14, he made this known to reporters in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
The pragmatic Wike, who entertained his second epic media debate, stated that all the party needs to do to reach a resolution and peace is to follow the right process.

Wike stated that he and his cohorts remain in the party because they want the party’s statutory principles to be followed without compromise to ensure fairness, equity, and inclusiveness.

Governor Wike said:
“Is not leaving PDP enough concession? Which concession have they made. If I and the other five governors say we are leaving the party, will there still be PDP? There is nobody who wants to win election and see what’s going on now and say it is alright?
