A 400-level student of Agricultural Economics at the University of Ife has left his studies here in Nigeria for greener pastures.

The Nigerian student, Awe Ayodeji Lucky said he has always wanted to go to school abroad, but his parents couldn’t afford it.

After five attempts, he won the Japanese MEXT Scholarship and was granted the opportunity to study Robotics in Japan.

Deji stated that attempting the scholarships was one of the most difficult times in his life, but he didn’t give up.

Delay is not denial, don’t give up

He won the scholarship while he was in 400 level at Obafemi Awolowo University.

Deji, not minding having just one year to go in his education here in Nigeria, gladly accepted the offer and is ready to start afresh in Japan.

Ayodeji Lucky left Nigeria in June 2022 to pursue his dream of schooling and studying his desired course, Robotics.

Meanwhile, an intelligent lady from North Atlanta High School stunned colleagues as she won $2.2m in scholarships after securing admissions into 29 universities in the US.

The student, identified as Kamryn Stargell, shared her excitement as she spoke to Fox 5 Atlanta.

She said, “I was super excited to get in. Mainly because I was really anxious about applying and waiting to see if I was going to get in.”
