Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, the winner of the recently concluded Big Brother Naija level-up edition, has revealed how her five-year perseverance paid off.
The 25-year-old aspiring actress revealed this during the Big Brother Naija prize presentation ceremony at the Multichoice office in Ilupeju, Lagos.
Phyna defeated 23 other housemates to win the grand prize in the highly competitive reality TV show Tagged ‘Level Up,’ which premiered on July 23 and 24.
Adekunle, Chichi, Bryan, Phyna, Daniella, and Bella are the six finalists.
While thanking the organisers, the reality star stated, “I want to say a big thank you to Big Brother for giving me this privilege after four years; in the fifth year, I am here, and it’s something amazing.”
Phyna, who is from Edo State, expressed herself to God, her fellow housemates, and the show’s sponsors during a session at the prize presentation.

“I just want to thank everyone who voted for me; even with all my’mmm’ (referring to her flat), I still made it,” she said.
When asked to name her most difficult moment in the house, she said it was difficult to choose because she had several high points.
“I had no difficult moments in the house, except when I had to fight for chow” (food). We had to argue during the merger, which was a difficult situation. I had to blend in with the other level and get to know them, and we were fighting for chow.”
During her session, she said she wants to be great in the next five years. “In the next five years, by God’s grace, heaven would be not only my limit but also a starting point,” she said.
