BREAKING: New NFF Board Emerges

A newly constituted Board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finally emerged following the conclusion of the Elective Congress that was held in Benin.

Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau representing Northwest Nigeria on the NFF Board, won the Presidency and his First Vice-President is Chief Felix Anyansi-Agu from Southeast.

Ahmed Yusuf, the one popularly known as Fresh is now the Chairman of Chairmen. Fresh alongside Rt. Hon. Margaret Icheen will represent the North Central region.

Alhaji Babagana Kalli and Timothy Henman are the representatives of northeast Nigeria.

Ganiyu Majekodunmi and Sunday Dele-Ajayi will represent Southwest Nigeria.

Rt. Hon. Essien Udofot and Aisha Falode will represent South-South Nigeria on the NFF Board while Northwest’s representative will be Alhaji Sharif Rabiu Inuwa.

Southeast is still expected to have someone on the board as we await the announcement of the winner of the southeast slot which is the final.

The Second Vice-President of the Board has not been announced yet but it’s not clear if Shehu Dikko who is still the Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC) will continue in that role.

This is the composition of the NFF Board from now till September of 2026.
