The Lagos State police command has reportedly detained Davido’s staff for questioning following the death of Ifeanyi.
The police confirmed that this was to investigate the circumstances behind the three-year-old’s death.
Davido reportedly arrested his employees after the painful loss. The police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to Battabox sources on Tuesday morning.
He said the “Domestic staff at Davido’s home have been brought to the station to give their own account of what happened.
“I wouldn’t call it an arrest just yet. If, after they have all given their accounts of what happened and preliminary investigations, any of them is found to be culpable, the person will be arrested.

A source reported, “Approximately nine people have been arrested for negligence, including his nanny and their cook.
“They’re both at his father’s house in Lekki, where no one from 30BG is permitted. His 30th birthday celebrations have been postponed.
“The true story is unsettling. Nobody knows how the kid got outside after opening a huge thick door. The arrested peppy is guilty of criminal negligence.”
