Learning never stops: 55-year-old returns to primary school

A man identified as Rusengamihigo Jean Marie Vianney shamelessly returned to primary school after years of dropping out.

The 55-year-old Ugandan, currently enrolled in primary five, explained that the government’s encouragement prompted his decision to return to school.

In an interview with Afrimax, he said, “The government encouraged many people to go to school. And I am among people who returned after dropping out when I was in primary 6.”

The video clip shared by Afrimax, showed Vianney’s wife, Nyirasafari Tamari, dressing him up in his uniform and praying as he leaves for school.

“Learning never finishes; as long as I am alive, I will keep learning. I wish to continue and pursue other skills, especially technical skills,” he said.

Vianney is passionate about learning as he does every activity required of a Nyakibingo primary school student.

Little girl chooses her academics over play in viral video

Meanwhile, a little girl who stayed back in class to read when her mates were out during break attracted many reactions.

The primary school girl named Boluwatife Semilore was observed by her teacher. She was said to be a reserved child.

However, luck seem to have smiled on her as many netizens offered to help her with educational supplies.
