A brilliant Ghanaian lady, Monica Nancy Candny, has earned a first-class degree in Marine Engineering.
She graduated as one of the top students from Regional Maritime University in Ghana.
Following her excellent performance at the university level, Royal Caribbean International in the United States has offered Monica the position of Engine Cadet at their organisation.

However, Monica Nancy, while sharing her story on LinkedIn, noted that her academic journey was not an easy one as she had to surmount many hurdles.
She said, “The battle was not easy at all, but with God, all things are possible. I am grateful for his grace, blessings, Favor, wisdom and Knowledge.”
Monica Nancy also left motivational words for her followers, stressing that failure is not the end of the journey.
“If you dream it you can achieve it. Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue counts,” she said.
The marine engineer who won several awards during her academic journey was grateful to her sponsors; the Liberia Maritime Authority, Liberia International ships and corporate registries, and Liberia Maritime Training Institute.

Meanwhile, a brilliant young lady earned a master’s degree in International Public Administration despite having to work as a waitress.
The South African lady, identified as Mitchell Mhlanga, shook off all her troubles and failures to earn a university degree.
Having no one to sponsor her through school, the young lady worked as a waitress to fund her education.
