Adunni Ade, the Nollywood actress, has finally responded to allegations of owing late actor Murphy Afolabi N250,000.
Earlier, it was reported that Adunni Ade had been publicly called out for the alleged debt during Murphy Afolabi’s 8-day Fidau Prayer.
In a public statement released by her team, Adunni refuted the claims of being indebted to the late actor.

She explained that Murphy Afolabi had approached her for a job last year and had paid her N150,000.
However, due to the unfortunate passing of her brother, she was unable to fulfil the job and returned the money to Afolabi when he proposed another agreement.

To substantiate her statements, Adunni Ade shared screenshots of her debit transaction as evidence of refunding the actor’s payment.

The actress’s response provides her side of the story, asserting that she did not owe Murphy Afolabi any money.
