Andrew Tate: Meet the Self Proclaimed Misognist that groomed the World

Depending on the side you are on, ‘Hogging the headlines with hogwash’ or ‘The real deal’ could be the title of your article or podcast on Andrew Tate. His surname rhymes with “positives” like Saint, Great, and Straight. Or “negatives” like Hate, Ire, and Overweight, but the neutral Debate takes the stage at the mention of his name.

A 45-minute documentary by Matt Shea titled The Dangerous Rise of Andrew Tate takes viewers into the social media personality world. Especially his secret society, webcam business, and multi-level marketing scheme. The report elicited diverse views despite it giving a voice to women he allegedly abused.

Andrew Tate is a British-American kickboxer and entrepreneur. He was born on December 1, 1986, in Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., to his parents, Emory Tate and Eileen Tate.

His father was a member of the Airforce and an acclaimed Chess player – described as “a trailblazer for African-American chess”. Emory Tate surely learnt a lot in 64 squares and taught his self-proclaimed misogynist son, Andrew Tate, how to “be a man” and “conquer the world”.

“My mother was quite subservient to my father, which was good,” he said. “My father was certainly a disciplinarian. He was the man in charge of the house. My dad’s basic tenant was: your mother is in charge of keeping you alive. Food, go to bed on time, eat well, go to school.

“But I’m in charge of teaching you how to be a man and conquer the world… They had well-defined roles. And I think I learned a lot of my lessons, I guess, on male-female dynamics, to a degree, from my childhood.”

Andrew Tate recalls an incident. His mother supposedly found phone numbers in his father’s pocket after the latter returned home from a chess tour.

“He just walked into the house. They start arguing. He came down to me and said, ‘Son, give me a hug’. I gave him a hug. He goes, ‘Alright. See you in a few weeks.’ I said, ‘Where are you going?’ He goes, ‘When you’re older, you’ll understand. Mother won’t shut up.’”

She eventually did. Andrew Tate’s parents split up after his father left the Air Force. His mother moved back to her birthplace of England with her children – an 11-year-old Andrew Tate, another son, Tristan, and a daughter, Janine.

Andrew Tate’s kickboxing career

After a hard day’s work…Andrew Tate displays his belts.

After starting self-defence classes and martial arts, Andrew Tate began training in kickboxing under his coach Amir Subasic at a gym in Luton. His first professional fight was in April 2007.

Within two years, he had won the British ISKA (International Sport Karate Association). A Full Contact Cruiserweight Championship in Derby. He went by the name King Cobra.

What does Andrew Tate do for a living?

Aside from his fighting career, Andrew Tate has also found success as an entrepreneur. He built a successful online business that offers fitness, dating, and personal development courses and coaching. He has authored several books on these subjects, including The Tate Formula and Fitness 4Fukkkks.

Andrew Tate is most famous for being a social media influencer. And for winning several world kickboxing championships, including the WAKO Pro world championship.

He has also competed in mixed martial arts and has appeared on reality television shows, including Big Brother UK in 2016. That ended in a fiasco, though. They evicted him from the house on the seventh day. This was after The Sun published a video which showed him whipping a former girlfriend with a belt before slapping her in the face.

He later maintained that the video confirmed a consensual act.

“This tape is a kinky s3x video, and we’re acting out a role play. A longer version of the video shows us laughing, and I’m hitting myself saying, ‘It doesn’t hurt’.”

The woman involved acquiesced and said that the act was reciprocal.

Around this time, Andrew Tate launched a webcam company with his brother, Tristan, from his apartment in London. He described it as “webcam pimping” and said the business was making him $600,000 a month, with 75 women working for him from four locations.

In 2022, Tristan admitted the business was a “scam” that saw the women lie to customers in order to get money from them.

Andrew Tate is also the CEO of Tate Galleries and founder of the fitness brand Cobra Cast. In starting another business called Hustlers University, he encouraged fans to take his online course for a monthly fee. He billed the courses as a cryptocurrency, e-commerce and stock trading masterclass.

The website has videos of supercars and yachts filled with women. It calls users to share Andrew Tate’s content online in order to recruit more members and earn a commission. You won’t be far from the truth if you call it a pyramid scheme.

He has since built a following online by appearing on podcasts and posting YouTube videos. In one video, he described keeping a machete by his bed and what he would do if a woman accused him of cheating.

“It’s bang out the machete, boom in her face and grip her up by the neck.”

In another podcast, he was asked about his previous statements suggesting women are men’s property.

“I’m not saying they’re property,” he said.

“I am saying they are given to the man and belong to the man.”

Well, it’s six of one, half a dozen of the other!

Andrew Tate moves to Romania.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan moved to Romania, where they live in a large compound. The Bucharest house is a converted warehouse with armed guards–one reason he wanted to leave the UK, where it wouldn’t be tolerated.

In an online video (which has been deleted), Andrew Tate also hinted that the move to Romania was because of the more relaxed s3xual assault laws.

“I’m not a rapist, but I like the idea of just being able to do what I want. I like being free,” he reportedly said.

Andrew Tate’s controversies and arrest

Andrew Tate has gained significant attention in recent years because of his controversial behaviour. In 2017, he was heavily criticized for tweeting about the benefits of slavery, which he argued was good for all parties involved and supported the idea of white superiority.

Three years later, he faced backlash for his remarks on the global pandemic, stating that it was an over-hyped hoax. He encouraged people to ignore social distancing measures and continue living their lives as usual.

Andrew Tate was also criticized for his beliefs surrounding women’s rights, stating that women who dress provocatively were asking for unwanted attention and that feminism was destroying society.

In 2022, they detained the Tate brothers in Romania on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group. Andrew Tate was alleged to have coerced women into s3xual acts, according to a case file compiled by Romanian prosecutors.

Tristan Tate was also alleged to have said he would “slave these bitches” in what the prosecutors say are audio-transcribed messages. They denied all the charges against them.

The file reported includes graphic allegations of s3xual violence against Tate and his brother Tristan. It included an assault which was said to leave a woman with eye and breast injuries.

The prosecutors said they have found six victims who claimed to have been s3xually exploited by the suspects for creating internet pornography. A judge ruled that the brothers be detained for 30 days.

Has Andrew Tate been released from prison?

On January 10, 2023, a Romanian court upheld the 30-day arrest of Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan, and two Romanian women who were also arrested on the same charges.

The judge’s decision (explained in a document) said “the possibility of them evading investigations cannot be ignored” and they could “leave Romania and settle in countries that do not allow extradition”. Andrew Tate attended the court hearing, arriving handcuffed to his brother Tristan.

On March 31st, Andrew Tate won an appeal to end his detention in jail and be held under house arrest.

“I thank the judges who heard us today because they were very attentive, and they listened to us, and they let us free,” he said.

“I have no resentment in my heart for the country of Romania or for anybody else. I just believe in the truth. I truly believe that justice will be served in the end. There is zero per cent chance of me being convicted for something I’ve not done.”

They formally charged him with rape, human trafficking and forming an organised crime group to s3xually exploit women on June 20th. The trial commenced immediately, and we expect it to take several years.

Andrew Tate is not a stranger to being taken into custody. In February 2022, they arrested him in the U.S. on charges of aggravated battery after he allegedly attacked and injured a man outside a nightclub in Miami. He denied the charges, stating that he acted in self-defence. They released him on bail, and his court case was ongoing as of April 2022.

Eileen Ashleigh Tate is a British citizen. At the same time, she’s not as widely known as her husband, two sons, and daughter. But we reckon she plays a significant role in the lives of the Tate brothers. Especially Andrew Tate.

She moved back to Luton, Bedfordshire, after her marriage collapsed. There she picked up a job as a dinner lady washing dishes. She quit the job partly because of the significant wealth that her two sons have accumulated. Andrew Tate has previously mentioned sending her money for support!

He’s a British-American internet personality. And a former professional kickboxer (he is a two-time ISKA British Kickboxing Champion). He came to limelight after appearing on the British reality television series Shipwrecked: The Island.

Tristan Tate confirmed on an Instagram story that he has a daughter but keeps her out of the spotlight.

Tristan, alongside his older brother Andrew, gained a notable internet following in 2022. They achieved this through creating controversial content, promoting their online courses, and appearing on podcasts. They were both arrested in December on charges related to human trafficking and criminal organisation.

The brothers have a lot in common, one of which is a lack of affinity to their sister because of their conflicting political views.

Janine is the youngest Tate sibling. She was born in Chicago and was five when her parents divorced. She grew up in Luton, Bedfordshire, before earning a law degree from the J. David Rosenberg College of Law at the University of Kentucky.

Janine was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association on October 23rd 2017. She has been engaged in full-time practice in the city.

Although Andrew and Tristan Tate appear to be inseparable, they rarely communicate with their sister. Considering Andrew Tate’s s3xist worldview, it’s no surprise that he and his feminist younger sister do not get along well.

“I wish her the absolute best,” he said.

“I have nothing bad to say about her. But the bond me and my brother have, I don’t wanna say this in any kind of negative way. I couldn’t live with my sister full-time in the same house. It would be weird; I don’t know why. I always thought there’s gonna be some degree of disconnect just because of the gender.”

Andrew Tate owns a fleet of cars, including brands like Porche, Lamborghini, and Rolls Royce. However, one car he holds so dear is his reddish-brown Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport. For someone known for the ridiculous flexing of exorbitant wealth, he’s often seen displaying his Bugatti on his social media accounts.

“I would argue that my Bugatti is the singular most famous automobile on the planet,” he said.

“Everyone knows it. Everyone knows it’s mine. It’s the only one in existence of this colour. The most famous man in the world drives the most famous car in the world. My other 34 cars are jealous, but that’s life.”

All that ended in December 2022 after he was arrested and detained on charges of human trafficking and money laundering. The Romanian police confiscated many of his valuables. His Bugatti, which was in Dubai, was also seized.

In 2022, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook took down his accounts for frequently making misogynistic comments about women online. They did it after concerns about his influence on his millions of followers escalated.

YouTube took down the channels linked with Andrew Tate. “For multiple violations of our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Including our hate speech policy,” Ivy Choi, a spokesperson for the company, said.

“Misogyny is a hateful ideology that is not tolerated on TikTok,” a spokesperson said in a statement.

“Our investigation into this content is ongoing as we continue to remove violative accounts and videos and pursue measures to strengthen our enforcement. Including our detection models against this type of content.”

Before then, he had about 4.6 million followers on Instagram and over 700,000 followers on YouTube, and his videos on TikTok had millions of views. He first gained mainstream media attention after appearing on the reality television show “Big Brother” in 2016. He carved out a space online where he claims to know the secrets of wealth.

At the height of his power, Andrew Tate offered a subscription for $49.99 per month to a programme called Hustlers University. He said it would provide “high-income skill development”. The “university” had 127,000 subscribers before they shut it down.

In November 2022, Andrew Tate returned to Twitter following Elon Musk’s takeover of the platform – and has been regularly tweeting since then. However, his social media presence and influence have waned. But we can still find his comments in videos posted by supporters and critics.

However, Andrew Tate was setting up a fight with one of the Paul brothers, Jake or Logan, before they imprisoned him in December 2022.

“It was all organised. Then I went to jail,” he said.

“This trial might last two or three years, and then I’ll be 40, then it’s pretty much too late. At 36, I could still do it; I could still teach them all a lesson now. Fair play to them. They are young guys who are bringing life back into boxing, and it’s good.

“I wanted to jump back in there and teach them all a lesson. There were some big fights on the cards for me being organised in November. I said to them, ‘Look, I don’t give a s*** about pay-per-view and gate tickets, I want X-amount of million upfront’. I expected them to say no, but they didn’t. I was like, ‘That’s a lot of money!’”

What does Andrew Tate’s sister say?

While discussing Andrew Tate, the name of his younger sister, Janine Tate, will inevitably come up. Unlike the solid bond he shares with his brother, Tristan, Andrew and Janine are buddies like Russia and Ukraine.

“My sister and I, we don’t really talk because she goes to feminist rallies and believes [Donald] Trump’s a racist,” he said.

“I know. How can Andrew Tate have a low-IQ sister? But it’s proven that the first child (while pointing to himself) is always the smartest. She’s like the third. Who gives a f**k about a third of anything?”

So, what does Andrew Tate’s sister say? Mum’s the word!

Does Andrew Tate have children?

“Double-digit children, and they all adore me. They see me as their hero, and the women who have my children see me as a hero.”

No woman has come out to say she’s had a child with the “hero” despite his claim of having multiple kids around the world. In fact, we know little about his dating history.

Andrew Tate was last rumoured to be seeing an American social media influencer Naghel Georgiana Manuela. In October 2021, he shared a picture of the pair on his since-suspended Instagram account.
