Apostle Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International, has issued a challenge to Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar.
He urges her to bring her allegations against him to court, seeking a fair trial to prove her claims.
Speaking through his lawyer, Dr Abdul Mahmud, Suleman asserts that the actress should defend herself in a 1 billion damages suit filed against her.

Rather than resorting to public accusations aimed at extorting money.
Mahmud emphasizes that his client has been unjustly attacked and defamed, with the intent of tarnishing his reputation.
He assures that justice will prevail in court regarding these false claims.
Notably, prior to filing the lawsuit, a cease and desist letter was sent to Abubakar, which she ignored.

Consequently, the court set a hearing date for June 6th and 7th, 2023, after she failed to appear in court on March 27th.
Mahmud expresses readiness to present Suleiman’s case during the allocated hearing days, exposing Abubakar’s lies and baseless accusations.
He highlights her reluctance to subject her claims to judicial scrutiny by failing to file a defence or appear before the court.
Abubakar had alleged an affair with the pastor, claiming he made her ill and engaged in intercourse while she was bleeding.

The defamation suit demands an apology, removal of defamatory statements from internet platforms, a permanent injunction, N1 billion in damages, and N20 million in legal expenses.
