- He said that contrary to David’s claim, Burna Boy is a music legend and has achieved a lot for himself and for Afrobeat.
The Ghanaian superstar made claims that shows that Burna has actually laid his stake deep into the roots of African music.
Speaking on an interview with GoldMyne TV. he stated that Burna’s conquest has set him apart as a music legend in Africa.
He said, “Burna is not new to me because Burna has been there for more than a decade”.
“If Davido said that, I honestly do not believe that he means that outrightly. New cats would be Rema, Ruger them”.
“So, I don’t believe Davido meant that but also if you ask me, I think Wizkid and Davido had have a fair share of international appeal earlier than Burna.”
