Award-winning singer Davido, also known as David Adeleke, has reportedly increased his endorsement fee to a staggering $5 million.
The request was made to Billpoint, a tech company, according to the CEO and founder, Linus Williams, who shared the news on Instagram.
Initially, Williams had set aside a generous sum of N150 million (approximately $205,000) for the singer’s endorsement.

However, the singer’s team informed Williams of the musician’s revised fee for being an ambassador to the company.
In response to an email from Williams inquiring about the endorsement deal, The singer representative stated, “Hello Mr. Williams, thank you for your email.
Davido’s endorsement fee is $5m for a full calendar year and is subject to review at the end of the endorsement period. Kindly let me know how you would like to proceed.”
This demand doesn’t come as a surprise, considering the singer’s recent statement about charging higher fees for international features.
