If you’re a firstborn daughter, try not to be broke in your life – Nigerian lady shares her ordeal

A young woman has taken to the social space to share some of the things she passes through as the firstborn daughter.

In a lengthy TikTok video, the young woman identified as Hauwa recounted how her parents asked her for things when she visited her parent’s house.

The young woman asserted that it was important for the firstborn female child to have money or else she was going to be dragged in her parent’s house.

According to her, when she visited her parent’s home during Sallah, she had to do extra work because she didn’t have money to pay for the things that people would have done for her if they were paid.

“If you’re a firstborn daughter, try not to be broke in your life, when I came home, I was asked by my mum if I still broke, I said yes, first of all, I first catch chicken, I have cut ram, I have cook, see if you are a girl and you are Muslim, have money, ” she ranted.
