A set of Nigerian women ignored the usual routine in a civil wedding as they graced the occasion with their presence in style.
Usually, when it comes to civil weddings, guests dress in their dinner wears with the men in suits as the couple also rocks their wedding attire with the bride wearing her white and the groom in his smart suit.
However, a set of no-doubt Nigerian women decided to defy the norms as they stepped in dressed in their aso ebi.

In the TikTok video, a young woman, Tejj shared how her mother with her friends trooped into her civil wedding ceremony with their matching aso ebi and gele.
The woman was gracefully seated with her friends as her daughter jokingly questioned her mother’s choice of dressing in a civil wedding with her friends.

Nigerian couple rock matching joggers to traditional wedding
Meanwhile, in a video, a couple was seen leaving for their traditional wedding wearing matching joggers.
The pair can be seen leaving for what appears to be the Igbo traditional wedding, known as Igba Nkwu, in the social media footage that has gone viral.
The man took a sip before reaching for his suitcase. In order to give the bride a gift, he took out several naira notes and placed them in the cup. They got up and made their way to the elders to ask for blessings.
