An intelligent Mississippi grandmother and grandson combination won $56,950.00 (GH634,799.44) on the well-known Wheel of Fortune game programme.
The audience was thrilled by Retta Alexander and her grandson Julian Hernandez when they made an appearance on a Wheel of Fortune broadcast during its “Grand Getaways Week.”
The grandma from Mississippi and her grandson excelled on the US programme, winning the competition and moving on to the “Bonus Round.”

The hosts presented the two-word phrase Alexander and Hernandez would have to decipher, ”ANC _ _ _ T _ _ _ E,” with only 10 seconds left on the clock to complete a puzzle in the ”Place” category.
In an effort to uplift the duo, Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak said:
”Well, there are two of you. Feed off each other. It’s a place. You have 10 seconds. Talk it out; good luck’.’
The hosts, audience, and her grandson were all equally astounded when Alexander shouted the right response, “Fancy boutique,” before the countdown started, according to Because Of Them We Can.
The two rejoiced and hugged each other as Sajak said that they had made an extra $40,000 for the challenging solution. The pair’s award was a whopping $56,950.00 (GH634,799.44).
