Nigerian singer, Joeboy, has expressed his desire to have been more arrogant, stating that he feels people often take his calmness for granted.
In an episode of his new podcast, Body & Soul, the talented artist reflected on his musical journey and admitted that at times he wishes he had been more vocal about his achievements.

Joeboy humorously remarked, “What could I have done differently? I would say, be more arrogant [laughs].
Because you people don’t have respect. When you are always calm, they just feel like you’re not that guy or something. It’s crazy, but it is what it is.”

Acknowledging that he had been reserved about his accomplishments in the past, the ‘Baby’ crooner emphasized his intention to change that approach.
He stated, “I felt I should have been more loud about my achievements because, to be honest, they were not comparable. But it is what it is. We grow and we learn. That’s one thing I wish I had done then; which I’m going to do now.”
